Protect against both rhinopneumonitis and influenza with Fort Dodge Fluvac Innovator EHV4/1 1dose. This killed vaccine protects against both EHV-1 and EHV-4 forms of rhinopneumonitis and Influenza Types A1 and A2, including Kentucky 81 strain. Inject 1ml intramuscularly (IM) and repeat 4-6 weeks later. More detailed dosages are located on the packaging.

Instruction

  • Use Instructions: Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened.
  • Storage Instructions: Store in the dark at 2° to 7° C (35° to 45° F). Avoid freezing.

Safety

  • Caution: In some instances, transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. Thimerosal, neomycin and polymyxin b are added as preservatives. For veterinary use only.

  • Dosage Measure: 1. Inject 1 ml dose intramuscularly using aseptic technique.2. Administer a second 1 ml dose 3 to 4 weeks after the first dose in unvaccinated or naïve horses.3. A 1 ml annual revaccination in previously vaccinated horses is recommended.4. Always read and follow label indications.5. Early revaccination may be advisable when horses are faced with an outbreak or with other conditions which might make exposure likely.
