West Nile Innovator equine West Nile Virus vaccine. For the vaccination of healthy horses 10 months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of viremia caused by West Nile Virus. Dosage: 1 ml IM, repeat in 3-6 weeks. Revaccinate annually.

Instruction

  • Use Instructions: Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened.
  • Storage Instructions: Store in the dark at 2° to 7° C (35° to 45° F). Avoid freezing.

Safety

  • Caution: In some instances, transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. Thimerosal, neomycin and polymyxin b are added as preservatives. For veterinary use only.

  • Dosage Measure: 1. Inject 1-mL dose intramuscularly to healthy horses 10 months of age or older using aseptic technique. Administer a second 1-mL dose three to six weeks after the first dose in unvaccinated or naive horses.2. A 1-mL revaccination should be given annually in previously vaccinated horses.3. Always read and follow label indications.4. Early revaccination may be advisable when horses are faced with an outbreak or with other conditions that might make exposure likely.
