Prevue Pet Products Rat and Chinchilla Cage is available in an Earth tone Dusted Rose hammertone finish. The small wire spacing and solid metal ramps and platforms make this an ideal cage for rats and chinchillas as well as baby ferrets. The large front door allows easy access to your furry friends while a pull-out bottom grille and tray make cleaning quick and easy. The wind-bell lock on the bottom of the cage prevents pets from pushing out the tray if the cage is used without the grille. This practical design also includes a bottom shelf for storing extra food treats and supplies.

Instruction

  • Assembly Instructions: To assemble the BASE, you will need these pieces: Attach storage shelf to leg frames. Windbell lock on front leg frame faces out. Flip unit over and fully insert casters into frame legs. To assemble the CAGE, you will need these pieces: Slide back panel into back leg frame. Slide front panel (with door) into front leg frame. If necessary,hole slugs may be removed and extended vertical wires may be straightened to align with holes in frame with needle nose pliers. To assemble the CAGE SIDES, you will need these pieces: Attach the grille/tray rails following the orientation shown in the detail. Slide side panels into place. To install PLATFORMS and RAMPS, you will need these pieces: Hook the lower platform on second horizontal wire up from the bottom. Hook the upper platform on second horizontal wire down from the top. Orient ramps with ridges facing up, and ‘U’ hook ends at the top, ‘L’ hook ends at the bottom. To attach the ROOF, you will need this piece: Position the roof panel over the top of the cage. Align wires and corner posts with receiving holes on underside of frame. Secure the roof in place with screws in each corner. To finish installation with the GRILLE and TRAY, you will need these pieces: Your cage is assembled and ready for use!
  • Care and Cleaning Instructions: Wash cage regularly with a mild soap, warm water and Prevues non-abrasive #109 Cage Scrubber. Dry thoroughly. Do not dry tray in the sun, as it can warp.
