Sold as a single hanger, each hanger includes a lower portion that mounts to the aquarium stand using the included wood screws. The upper portion slides into the lower portion and can be adjusted to the desired height. Each hanger is rated to hold 10 lbs. Use multiple hangers depending on the length of your light fixture.

Instruction

  • Assembly Instructions: 1. Attach Base: Attach lower mounting plate to the upright with holes using the included allen screws and washers. Orient the lower mounting plate so that it faces the middle of the aquarium stand.2. Adjustable Mounting Plate with Knob: After the upright is installed, place the adjustable mounting plate w/knob as close to the top of the stand aspossible. Secure with the included wood screws and tighten the knob.3. Assemble Hanger: Slide the stop collar onto the horizontal bar. Thread the horizontal bar and adjustable upright bar into the 90° elbow.4. Attach Upright Bar to Base: Slide the assembled upright bar into the base and secure it at the desired height with the hand knob.5. Position the stop collar so that it will prevent the fixture suspension cable from sliding on the horizontal bar. Secure the stop collar in place using Allen wrench.

Safety

  • Safety Warnings: The Light Fixture Hanger should be mounted into a secure surface only. Do not mount hardware directly into drywall/gypsum board (such as a wall) or any similar material. Mounting hardware MUST be attached with supplied screws into a wood board or wall studs that can handle 100 lbs or more.
