With a highly visible dual digital LED display, the DDC-800 includes adjustable high and low temperature settings with audio alerts. This advanced controller utilizes heavy-duty, three-prong receptacles and offers overheating protection. Each unit is equipped with a dual relay interwork that doubles the protection and safety of aquatic life by disabling the heating element in case of overheating. This highly accurate digital controller eliminates temperature fluctuations and is the perfect addition for saltwater and freshwater systems.

- Use Instructions: Controller Setting:1. Turning the controller ON/OFF - hold the ON/OFF/SET button for 2 seconds to turn on/off. After turning the unit off, wait 5 seconds before turning back on.2. Push the C/F button to switch the led display in between centigrade and Fahrenheit temperature reading3. Heating temperature setting - Push the ON/OFF/SET button to switch the led display from aquarium temperature reading mode (non-blinking number) to temperature setting mode (blinking number). Use the + and - buttons to set the desired heating temperature value. When the value is set, push the ON/OFF/SET button to complete the setting. 4. Low temperature alert setting - Push the Alert-LO button to ready the controller for setting (blinking number). Use the + and - buttons to set the low temperature alert value. When the value is set, the led display will automatically return to aquarium temperature reading mode (non-blinking number) 5. High temperature alert setting - Push the Alert-HI button to ready the controller for setting (blinking number). Use the + and - buttons to set the low temperature alert value. When the value is set, the led display will automatically return to aquarium temperature 3reading mode (non-blinking number). Operation:A. The controller should be placed above and away from aquarium water to prevent the controller from being damaged by moisture. B. Affix the temperature sensor to the aquarium wall with the suction cup. Do not put the temperature sensor under aquarium substrate. The temperature sensor should be placed away from the heating element for accurate temperature sensing. C. Connect aquatop's titanium heater or other heating element to the power receptacle. Do not place the heating element under or on top of aquarium substrate. The heating element should be placed where there is good water flow. D. Connect the controller to the power outlet the power indicator will illuminate and the controls will start beeping for 2 seconds. Follow the controller settings to complete the settings of desired heating temperature and low/high temperature alerts. E. When the water temperature reading is lower than the set value of the desired heating temperature. The heating indicator will illuminate and begin heating.F. If the water temperature meets an alert setting value, the controller alarm will begin beeping. If the water temperature exceeds the high temperature alert settings, along with the alarm initiated, the heating process will be stopped. G. Turning off the alert beeping - beeping will cease when temperatures achieve the safe value set and/or when the power supply is terminated.
