Aquatop's MaxFlow Series of DC Wave Maker Pumps are powerful, highly efficient direct current wave making pumps that move and draw water in a unique way. The Prop-Style Impeller and 360û uniform water draw create a wider distribution of flow when compared to traditional powerheads. The MaxFlow DC Wave Maker Pumps also include a strong, secure magnet mounting system which allows for flexible placement and offers a wide range of motion. Each model runs quietly and efficiently, with multiple flow modes and a wavelength frequency dial for precise control. Two or more units can be synchronized wirelessly for enhanced water movement and circulation throughout your aquarium.

Instruction

  • Use Instructions: 1. Simply remove the magnet attachment from the back of the pump and then place the pump on a clean flat surface on the inside of your aquarium2. Use the magnet to attach the pump to the tank making sure that the pump is completely submerged under the water line3. Choose an area along the top of the aquarium with adequate visibility and install the wave pump controller on the outside of the aquarium using the included mounting hook4. Alternatively, use the included Velcro sticker to mount the controller to a clean, flat surface on the outside of the aquarium5. Connect the pump to the controller using the 3-prong adapter cord6. Insert Power Supply Cord into the Controller7. Make A Drip-Loop and connect the power cord to an electrical outlet or GFCI outlet8. Adjust the direction of the pump according to the needs of your aquarium inhabitantsProgramming Guide:1. Selecting pump to program: When connecting two pumps, select which pump to program by pressing the button until the desired pump is selected. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate for the pump that is selected.2. Selecting Water Flow Mode: Press the Mode Button to cycle through each of the five water flow modes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate for each of the five modes.Setting the Flow Intensity: Press the Button to increase the flow intensity until the desired flow is selected. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate for each of the flow intensity settings. Each setting increases the flow intensity by approximately 20%. Once the highest flow setting is reached, continue pressing the Button to decrease the flow intensity.Setting the Wavelength Frequency: Adjust the wavelength frequency by rotating the Wavelength Dial between -/+ until the desired frequency is reached.FEED MODE: Press and hold the Button for 2 seconds or until the indicator light turns on. The pump(s) will be paused for a period of 10 minutes before returning to the set operation.LOCK/UNLOCK MODE: Press and hold the Button for a period of 2 seconds or until the indicator light turns on to lock the Wavelength Frequency Dial. To unlock the Wavelength Frequency Dial, press and hold the L button for 2 seconds or until the indicator light turns off.
