  • Feeding Amount: 3-10 lbs, 1/3 to 1 cup/day; 10-20 lbs, 1 to 1 1/2 cups/day; 20-50 lbs, 1 1/2 to 3 cups/day; 50-75 lbs, 3 to 4 cups/day; 75-100 lbs, 4 to 5 cups/day; 100+ lbs, 5 cups/day plus 1/3 cup for each additional 10 lbs.
  • Feeding Instructions: AvoDerm Natural® dog food is slow-cooked to ensure your dog receives optimum nutrition from high quality ingredients. AvoDerm Natural® dog food is naturally formulated to be complete and balanced with added vitamins, minerals, and other important nutrients for proper maintenance.PUPPIES Start allowing puppies access to AvoDerm Natural® dog food about 3 weeks before weaning, the food can be moistened to help consumption. After weaning feed the puppy 3 to 4 times per day for the first 2 months, and then from 2 to 3 times per day until reaching adult size, and then 1 to 2 times per day. Expect to feed 1 ½ to 2 times the adult feeding recommendation during puppy’s growing phase. Adjust the daily amount fed so the puppy maintains a good body condition.PREGNANT FEMALES During pregnancy, increase the feeding amount during the last 1/3 of pregnancy to 1 ½ times the amount recommended as shown for the adult. Avoid excessive overfeeding. Maintain a good body condition while preparing for whelp and nursing.LACTATING FEMALES A nursing female can expect to need 2 to 3 times as much food as recommended in the adult feeding guideline. Adjust the extra food given by the number of puppies and length of nursing. Try to maintain a good body condition, however with large number of puppies, expect to have some loss in body fat for milk production.
