  • Use Instructions: To Install: A - Place gate in the entranceway ensuring that it is the correct size. Mark the positions of the eye screws in the opening of the entrance, with lower eye screws being 4 above the floor and the upper eye screws being 20 above the floor. B- The short eye screws are to be used for wood or metal openings. The long eye screws are to be used for dry wall or plaster openings. When installing the eye scews, make sure they anchor securely to the wall. Also make sure the long eye screws don't extend more than 3/4 of an inch out. C - Using the carriage bolts and barrel nuts, connect the two gate sections. D- Position gate in opening. Attach the spring loaded latches to the eye screws. On opposite side lift gate, and insert hook in the lower eye screw, then attach spring loaded eye latch to the top eye screw. E - To keep center panels from moving, secure the safety strap. To Open Gate: F - To open, unlock the spring-loaded latch, lift gate panel and swing out. To Close Gate: G- To close, simply re-latch the spring-loaded latch back onto the eye screw.
