The LED Light provides a natural shimmering effect in the water, is energy efficient and is powered by a low voltage adapter. Each aquarium has a clear plastic canopy with a feeding hole, and cut outs for the filter. The canopies also help to reduce water evaporation and keep fish inside the aquarium. Half Moon 30 include: Half Moon 30 Aquarium; Clear plastic canopy with holder for LED Light; LED Light with 42 White and 3 Blue LEDs; Daylight LEDs create a shimmering light that mimics the natural underwater effect of sunlight; Nightlight LEDs allow for nighttime enjoyment of the aquarium; 3-position switch: On, Blue, Off. The Half Moon 20 and 30 Aquariums do not include a filter. The clear covers have been designed with a filter cut out that fit the following filters: Half Moon 30 - filter cut out dimensions are: 8.500 x 3.500. Recommended filters: Penguin 150 or Tetra EX30.
