The beautiful Petgate Passage pressure mounts easily and securely in a variety of openings from 29.75 - 39in wide and is 30in tall. Matte Bronze construction will complement any home dÈcor. The Small Pet door (9.5in x 8in) swings freely or locks for containment. Extra wide 21in door opening allows for easy pass through. Swing gate in one or both directions with Swing-stop feature. Two 3in extensions are included with the gate, with these the gate can fit in doorways up to 39in wide.

Instruction

  • Assembly Required?: Yes
  • Assembly Instructions: Step 1: Measure the width of the opening and determine number of extensions needed for the gate. Adding Extensions: remove upper and lower end caps on the gate frame. NOTE: If it is difficult to remove, use a flat head screwdriver to pry the end caps on the gate frame out. Connect the extension bar to both upper and lower extension connectors. Insert extension into gate frame. Re-insert upper and lower caps into the extension connectors.Step 2: Attach gate stopper to the lower bar on the door frame. NOTE: Insert gate stopper so the arrow is facing up and stopper knobs slide downStep 3: Insert the front latch (K) and the back latch (L) into the bottom of the pet door frame. Firmly connect them together to lock into place. NOTE: Insert latch so the release button is facing up.Step 4: Place tension knobs onto spindles, insert spindles into gate.Step 5: Align and secure with wall cups onto your wall with tape pads or screws. NOTE: Make sure the bottom of the gate frame remains completely flat on the floorStep 6: Tighten both top and bottom tension knobs inward towards the gate. To ensure safe installation, continue to tighten tension knobs until the gap between the gate latch and the gate frame housing is eliminated.
  • Use Instructions: OPENING THE GATE:1. Slide triangular button located within the gate handle.2. While holding button, lift the handle upwardsCLOSING THE GATE:1. Manually swing the gate closed with the handle in the upright position.2. Return handle to the closed position. You will hear a “click” when the handle is securely engaged.Swing Control Operation: Rotate the knob down on the gate stopper to determine the direction the gate door will swing. Gate opens in both directions when gate stopper is not rotated.PET DOOR OPERATION:TO LOCK: Squeeze and twist the front center knob located below the pet door. As you twist, the knob will line up with the arrows on the right or left sides of the knob. The pet door will move freely in both directions for your pet to pass through.TO LOCK: Squeeze and twist the front center knob located below the pet door. As you twist, the knob will be in the upright position, keeping the door securely locked.
