Constructed of wrought iron with a cage-top playstand to keep your bird entertained and content, the heavy-duty push button lock keeps your bird securely inside its cage when playtime is over. This select bird cage also includes four stainless steel cups, two wood perches and a caster stand for portability. Both trays and bottom grille are removable for ease of cleaning while the rounded corner seed guards control mess around the cage. Our Wrought Iron Select Cage in Black Hammertone measures 18 long, 18 wide, 57 high with 3/4 wire spacing.

Instruction

  • Assembly Instructions: 1. Assemble the CAGE FRAME:a. Lay the front panel on the floorb. Slip the tab on the lower side panel onto the sleeve on the frame legc. Attach the panels together at the top with one LONG screwd. Add the other side panel and the back panel, and secure all top corners with a LONG screwe. Fully insert the rolling casters into the base of the frame legs. When this stage is complete, stand the cage upright.2. Assemble the cage SIDES & ROOF:a. Slip the side panels into place, guiding the panel down through the bracketsb. At the base of the panels, insert the extended center wire into the hole on the side panel framec. Insert the corner posts at the base of the roof frame into the open corners on the cage frame. Secure the roof in place with SHORT screws.3. Assemble the HAMMERTONE PLAYTOP UNIT:a. Insert the post from PT2.1 into the open end of PT2.2. Attach this unit to the playtop with LONG screws.b. Attach the PT3 perch/cup bar to the unit with LONG screwsc. Insert the PT5 cup holders into the perch/cup bar, and then insert the PT5 cups into the holdersd. Insert the PT1 playtop traye. Insert the PT6 short perch into the perch/cup barf. Insert the PT4 ladder into the perch/ cup bar at the top end, and into the playtop frame at the bottom end4. Install the ACCESSORIES:a. Install the perch by inserting both slotted ends onto a horizontal wire of an even heightb. Open the cup doorc. Insert the cup holder into the sleevesd. Insert the cup into the cup holdere. Insert the tray into the bottom channelsf. Insert the grille into the top channelsg. Hook the grille clip onto the short horizontal wire above the tray. Clip the top portion over the grille handle to secure the grille in place.5. Assemble the SEED GUARDS:a. SEED GUARDS: Both SIDE guards (left & right) have extended TABS at the bottom corners. The front guard has NOTCHES along the bottom strip.b. To make assembly easier, flip the FRONT and SIDE guard upside down on the floor as shownc. Align the holes on the flashing strips at the cornersd. Insert a SHORT screw through both guards and tighten the nut in placee. Follow the same method with the BACK guard and SIDE guard panelsf. Flip the two-piece seed guard units right-side-upg. Make sure the FRONT guard—with the notches along the bottom—is positioned at the front of the cageh. Insert the TABS on the SIDE guards into the sleeves on the frame legsi. Finish attaching the seed guards together at the two open corners with the remaining short screw/nut pairs
