Instruction

  • Feeding Instructions: For guinea pigs under 6 months, feed unlimited pellets. For guinea pigs over 6 months of age, feed 1/8 - 1/4 cup pellets daily. For pregnant and nursing guinea pigs, feed an unlimited amount of pellets. Individual guinea pigs needs may vary. Your guinea pig's diet should contain an unlimited supply of fresh Timothy hay daily. Choose from Sweet Meadow's variety of Organically Grown Timothy Hay, Timothy Hay or Sweet Meadow Hay. Your guinea pig's diet should also include Sweet Meadow's Alfalfa as a snack only to provide extra protein. Remove any uneaten food before adding fresh food as well as fresh water daily. Transition to Sweet Meadow Guinea Pig Pellets: Mix 1/2 Sweet Meadow Guinea Pig Pellets and 1/2 current feed for 2 weeks then full feed Sweet Meadow Guinea Pig Pellets.
