Sweet Meadow Rabbit Pellets are made from a premium blend of Timothy grass and alfalfa hay. The result is a pellet that creates the perfect balance for the health of young, growing, pregnant, nursing or active rabbits. Timothy grass and Alfalfa hay, blended with other fortified ingredients are combined to meet the demands of your rabbit during these stages of life. Our original blend rabbit pellets can also be used as an adult pellet because these pellets have a perfect blend of Timothy grassÐalfalfa hay. Most other pellets are made only with Alfalfa meal, which is not in the best for an adult rabbit. It is important that an adult rabbits be provided with plenty of Timothy hay. Always change your rabbit's food gradually to allow the digestive system time to adapt.

Instruction

  • Feeding Instructions: For small breeds feed 1/4 - 1/2 cup pellets daily. For large breeds, feed 1/2 -1 cup pellets daily. Individual rabbit needs may vary. Your rabbit's diet should contain an unlimited supply of fresh Timothy hay daily. Choose from Sweet Meadow's variety of Organically Grown Timothy Hay, Timothy Hay or Sweet Meadow Hay. Your rabbit's diet should also include Sweet Meadow's Alfalfa, as a snack only. Remove any uneaten rood before adding fresh food and provide fresh water daily. Transition to Sweet Meadow Rabbit Pellets: Mix 1/2 Sweet Meadow Rabbit Pellets and 1/2 current feed for 2 weeks then full feed Sweet Meadow Rabbit Pellets.
