Instruction

  • Use Instructions: Place the terrarium on a hard level surface and plug in the heater. Use Zoo Med’s Hermit Crab Thermometer (HC-10) to monitor the temperature of your terrarium.

Safety

  • Caution: 1. Do not place your terrarium where it will receive direct sunlight.2. Unplug the heater if your house temperature rises above 80° F.3. Do not use the heater with aquatic terrariums or tanks filled with water.4. Do not place a water dish directly above the heater if the heater is underneath the terrarium.5. Do not submerge the Hermit Crab Heater for any reason.6. Do not use the Hermit Crab Heater on wood or metal surfaces.7. Do not use the heater inside of a terrarium.8. Do not place heat lamps or other heat sources directly above the area where the heater is.9. Do not place the terrarium on carpeting or in close proximity to any other material that could decrease ventilation and/or allow excess heat to build up around the heater.
